The "halau" hula school is not just a group of dancers...

it's an ohana (family).

We are open to all "Hawaiians at Heart

Our halau fosters traditional Hawaiian values such as lokahi (unity), ha'aha'a (humility), and kokua (helping others).  We strive to bring out the best in each haumana (student) and take pride in our family of friends to support each others efforts.  We encourage kindness, commitment, responsibility, cooperation, generosity, understanding and respect each others differences.  We take pride in our community and our beautiful environment and value the many blessings life has to offer.

Aloha Dancers offers dance lessons to students of all ages in the Sierra Foothills.  Lessons are available in Shingle Springs and Folsom, CA.  Private and group lessons are available upon request.

Polynesian dance honors respect, discipline, humility, courtesy, patience, support, compassion, determination, perseverance, and harmony.  Aloha Dancers offers dance instruction to all ages and levels in Hula-Kahiko (ancient/traditional) and Hula-Awana (contemporary), Tahitian-Otea/Aparima and Maori.  Students will learn knowledge of the Hawaiian culture, discipline, costume making and performing.  It is also an excellent form of exercise and a natural stress reducer.  Polynesian dance helps maintain good memory, balance, flexibility and health.
